Bruno Alves Negotiating Zenit Move

After a strong season for FC Porto and World Cup for Portugal the interest in the Bruno Alves has boomed. The experienced and commanding Porto captain has been linked with moves to several clubs, however Zenit Petersburg have offered €15m and the clubs are negotiating the transfer.

The 29 year old has spent the majority of his career with the Portuguese giants and is relishing a move to a bigger club. But will joining Zenit be regarded as moving to a greater club and more compeititve league? However, we must not forget about the money factor - money is certainly a motivator in this move.
